I know this is an older game, I played it when it first came out and decided to play it again.
I cannot get past the Slot Machine in Spain in the Shop. Every time I put coins in and push start, the game crashes.

I've seen on old threads that MaG has sent a saved game to other people having this problem. I was wondering if you still have it to send to me?

If by any chance anyone has a saved game for after the Slot Machine is done, Please send it to me.

Unfortunately I don't have any saved games for the Art of Murder games.

MaG retired over three years ago and is not available for this either.

Let's hope for someone else here coming along and being able to assist you.

I wonder why the game is crashing? Are you playing it on a different operating system than when you played it the first time? I ask because if the crashing problem could be solved, you would be able to continue on without the need for a saved game.

When I played it the irst time I think I had Windows XP so I changed the compatibility to XP.

I'm playing on Windows 10 now. I still have the CD version o the game and was surprised that it installed and was playing beautifully until I had this problem.

Interestingly, I took a look at the digital download on Steam here and it actually lists Windows 10 as one of the supported operating systems. So apparently it is supposed to be compatible with Windows 10.

Apart from waiting for a saved game, my only other suggestion would be to post in Glitches to see if the techies have any other ideas for you.

I do have a save for this game but it doesn't sound like the one needed.

My description of it is :

"For immediately after solving the slider puzzle in the palace at Marseilles."

However, if it's of any use I can certainly send it.

[I think it's probably from when I played the game on my XP machine.]

I would appreciate the save game MaD. Otherwise I can't continue the game at all.

All 3 of the AOM games as well as the 2 Chronicles Of Mystery games that were made by City Interactive are on Big Fish, and none of them list Windows 10. I don't know if these games are some of the ones that were dumbed down for Big Fish.

There is a patch for the game on The Patches Scrolls site, but it doesn't say what it's supposed to fix.

The versions on Big Fish are the complete, original games.
