Hi rayette,
I haven't come across any real "action" sequences or "fighting" involved in this game yet. It's more of a point and click with a 360 view.

Rayette, there is no real action in the game. There are a few times you will have to crouch or sneak, but nothing major. It is a psychological horror instead of a survival horror.

It's funny you mention Someday You'll Return Rayette...it has a bit of the new blair witch game & SYR feel to it. A little of the resident evil horror to it as well. A great adventure game for sure.

I was SO excited for the release of Someday You'll Return, revco, and I purchased it as soon as it was released. I played it almost 3/4 of the way through while struggling with some parts of it. Finally, I came up against a section I just could NOT get through. I tried and tried, but finally gave up in frustration. I REALLY wish the developers had left the sneaking and running and dying aspects out of the game. I was thoroughly enjoying the rest of it, but that one place stopped me in my tracks. Rayette, have you installed the update? They got rid of a lot of that as you can see here.Ana

But I still reached a point where I just got so frustrated I quit. I may actually do as revco suggested and go back to it. Perhaps, now that I'm retired, I won't feel so "pressured" to get it done before I have to go back to work. Glad to know, though, that I was not alone in my frustration. Thank you, Ana and revco!
