I don't know, oldbroad. I went to the Steam discussion forum for Overboard and didn't see anything, so I asked. The game is only about an hour long.

The short answer is no.
When you exit it will save which is where you next start. If you have only played a very short bit (eg go to restaurant) you might have to do that again, but as far as I could tell once you made a choice the game moved you on.
You can choose to reset the day, or to wipe all data (the game keeps count of your attempts and might adjust accordingly) but "resume" is the stock in trade and works quite well.
