Hi Draclvr and All other Firefox lovers, Pale Moon did an update and once again the No Squint no longer works and until they do another update or fix, at least I hope they do, I am forced to use Firefox for the time being and I absolutely hate this Proton feature especially the Bookmarks, there is Too much space between folders in the Bookmards and now my Bookmarks do not fit on one Screen like it did with Pale Moon, Arrgh!!!, I tried all the tips and tricks to fix this with NO Luck, double Arrrrgh!.
PS: I did not put this in the *Glitches section since I believe there is no fix for this until enough people let Mozilla know they are not happy and so far many have including myself. There are other ugly things about this version of FF but I will stick with my Main Pet Peeve which is the Bookmarks.
*Unless of course one of the Moderators deem that this should be in the Glitches section.

My Bookmarks are all single spaced and don't take up any more room than anything else. I have several folders, but they are also single spaced. My version is also 94.0.2. Oldbroad, you click on Help and then on About to see your version.
Oldbroad, I have an extension which sorts my long list of bookmarks alphabetically.

Hi Draclvr, well maybe it is due to my display settings re "Change the size of text, apps, and other items" which is set at 175% because it makes things easier to read for me, the frustrating thing though is that in Pale Moon my bookmarks are Single spaced or for arguments sake the bookmarks are Better spaced which allows for me to See All my bookmarks in One Screen without having to Scroll up and down, very annoying. And olbroad regarding your "I just bookmark stuff and they're just in a long list and hard to find. I usually don't even try to find them"l , you remind me of my oldest Brother in Law whose computer I maintain he does exactly what you do with his Bookmarks, Good Lord jesus every time I go over to his place to fix his computer and try to find things in his Bookmarks i just want to Scream or hit him behind the head with a rubber hose since what should have been a 1 minute search max, it took me approx. 30 minutes, . No wonder you don't bother trying to find them

Oh, for sure that's why. Is that setting in Windows or in Firefox? Because you can also change those settings in Firefox.

Click on the hamburger menu and zoom and out is in the list. I always just use CTRL key with the scroll wheel which also works. I tried making everything huge in Firefox and my bookmarks were still single spaced. I'll try to change screen resolution and see what happens.
EDIT: So I changed to 175% and although everything was ginormous, my bookmarks were still single spaced.

Well oldbroad I am happy I made you chuckle, always happy to make someones day.
Draclvr, thanks for your help, nothing worked, I even Shrunk my Display setting to 100% and I had to use my Binoculars to see the Icons on my Desktop let alone read anything on it and Still No Go. I wanted to upload two images I made of the Bookmarks on Pale Moon vs Firefox but I don't know how to do this, I know I am supposed to see some kind of "Manager?" but I didn't see it. OH well, I will live with these SPACED OUT Bookmarks for now. I don't want you wasting any more of your time on this, I know you are a Very busy woman and I appreciate your help.

We can't post images here. But you are welcome to send them to me by email! To be honest, at this point I'm pretty curious, so I would welcome you sending them! I'm not busy at all now that gardening season is over.

You did! I took a look at them, but it's almost midnight here and I'm heading to bed. Anxious to take a look at them tomorrow!

OK. So I spent quite a bit of time enlarging, reducing, changing fonts etc! I found that in my Firefox when I enlarged the display settings to 175%, the bookmarks looked much the same as yours. I even tried changing the default font in Firefox from 16 to 12 and I thought it helped, but not much. The browser that I found worked the best was Edge. I pretty much only use Edge now, so I tried all the enlarging etc. They kept a reasonable spacing in Edge.
So, there you have it!

OK thanks for you help Draclvr and taking the time to play around with Firefox, I really appreciated, I will stick with Firefox for now and live with the spacing, as for Edge, I have tried it and so far not much of a fan, maybe when I feel courageous I will give it a try and play around with it. Again, thanks and take care and enjoy your extra time off to play games and do other Fun stuff.

I was totally with you and was NOT a fan of Edge. But Firefox finally ran its course with me and I was ticked one day and forced myself to use Edge for a week. Turns out it's not as bad as I thought it was!
