So far I've got these up and running that were too much for my old 10+ year old Win 7 to handle:
Obduction Quern The new ROTS Syberia 3 Xing Lake Ridden
All are running maxed out with no problems.
Are there any other newer high-powered games that I should look at? Preferably point-and-click and non-Steam, but I wouldn't rule out either.

Oh, how yummy! I get to live vicariously through someone's new computer! That is an especially tasty motherboard! And TWO 1 TB SSDs... nice! That video card isn't too shabby either!
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

GOG and Steam both have Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One, which seems to require a bit more horsepower than the average point and click adventure game.
I haven't played Crimes And Punishments yet. I did have it installed on the old computer, but it was running too sluggish to be enjoyable, so I gave up on it. I also have The Devil's Daughter and haven't played it yet either. I did wishlist Chapter One on GOG, and I'll wait until it goes on sale to buy it. When you wishlist a game on GOG, they send you an email when it goes on sale. Any more recommendations?
