i don't ask for much but we are needing as many parayers that we can get. our 24 yr old granddaughter tested positive monday for covid. she had a Defibrillator put in her in june because of her heart problems. well her mom just sent me a text telling me her temp has gone up to 102 and is taking her to the er. this young lady has fought soe many battles in her 24 yrs more than and young person should. she has ha special place n my heart . i am just heart broken. it hasn't helped none that my hubsand has been fighting lung cancer this year and now i am having problems with my lower back and can't hardly get around. but my concerns are for me its for my granddaughter. than you for listening

didn't get a chance to add this last night. her trasplant team told the doctors at that hospital to have a monoclonal antibody treatment set up for her . alos the put her on a inhaler and a zpac to help make sure she doesn't get pnuemonia. as daughter and her husband was waiting on her daughter to be released , the hospital had to be exvacuated . guess the room where the computers are caught on fire. daughter said so if we don't have crappy luck then we don't have any

Oh my My10! What a sequence of events!

talked to daughter and she said that brooklyn looked 50% better after the transfusion today. guess she even had a little bounce in her step but her mom told her she still needs to take it easy for a while and she better get better by the time her birthday rolls around the 16th. i can't believe she is going to be 24 this year. will keep you updated as much as i can . thank you everyone for your prayers

I would think her mom's advice is right on target - she should take it easy.

i texted daughter to see how brooklyn was doing and , she said her fever was down and she ate something today. then shortly after that brooklyn called me , she sounds a whole lot better than she did the on Wed.

Whew! That sounds so promising, my10! Let's hope it stays that way!

sorry its taken me a few days with a update. grandduaghter is doing great after that infusion. then come to find out my son got covid this last week and was /is miserable. guess he went in for the infusion on thursday. haven't talked to him fo a few days . i haven't been able to do muc of anything and this sleeping in a chair is the pits but i can't get out of bed once i get in . i tried to have a mei on wednesday but had a big panic attack, so now i go this wednesday to another hospital for a open mri, just hoping the hours ride i can make it

Oh, so glad to hear granddaughter is feeling better. Hope the infusion helps your son too. I have a couple of friends who have to use the open MRI. The technicians always give them something for anxiety too and they both told me it really helps.

Good news about your granddaughter! Hopefully, your son will also have good results.
