Have fun with the game, Leeana! The game has been tweaked to run on new computers at these sites.

Both sites have the original game as well as the Anniversary Editions and both Anniversary and original versions should not present any problems on newer computers. GOG uses ScummVM for running the original version. I am not sure what Steam uses but either way it's all good.

Leeana, you can't go wrong with Gabriel Knight. It's a game that should thrill everyone with even the slightest interest in adventure games. And when you've played it, you have two excellent sequels to look forward to (which are considerably less expensive than the first game).

Steam's site actually has a demo you can download to where as GOG's site does not unless I am missing something here. Good chance for anyone interested to check out first. Excellent play, very good game!

Orion, I think GOG might have offered a demo when the game was first released, but not anymore. Then again, maybe they never had one on their site.

And I too like 123Pazu. He registered on GameBoomers back in 2014 and made a total of 18 posts. I think he does really great video walkthroughs.

Thank you for that info Marian. Did not know if GOG ever carried the Demo or not. At least Steam still offers it. I wonder if when a time comes they too will remove the Demo. Do they remove them as well??? I would hope not.....
