Hi Boomies So sorry to bother you all but im in Dire need of a simple yet delicious dish .... Ok It seems I was invited (as per message) to my Pastors House for dinner , when asked about what I could bring ...answer Just bring yourselves ... I would bring ready made cut up fruit Um just my Idea .... Help what would you bring ? please ..... I can cook and Bake BUT never anything presentable Oh Im so stuck on Ideas  any help Thank You

Usually, "just bring yourselves" means the host and hostess already have their meal planned. In a case like that I would bring something lovely to drink like a bottle of wine if they drink wine or something else nice. Or if that's not an option, bring a small bouquet of beautiful cheery flowers. Bringing another dish might totally mess up their meal plans.

I 100% agree with Drac! A always appreciate fresh flowers as a gift. I am not a wine drinker but I do know that it's a great thing to bring to certain friends houses.
When someone brings a dish to share I find it very annoying since I generally have everything covered.
