Snake scales
I’m back again after getting on quite successfully after all your recent advice.
However.as you will gather- I have another problem.
I am supposed to combine this snake scales in chapter 5.
I have tried every combination that I can think of but no way can I do this- I can never get the 2 together to examine them.
Could someone give my old brain a step by step instruction.
Would greatly appreciate some more of the team,s always great advice .

"Usually" when something like this happens, it's because there is something else to need to do first. Since I haven't played the game, about all the help I can give is to go through the walkthrough and see if you missed something. Hopefully, someone who has played it and remembers will be along to help more!

I think you can only compare the snake scales when you are using your inventory. There is an excellent text walkthrough HERE And in chapter 5 it says this : Day 5
St George's Book Shop
After Grace gives you the package and you receive the phone call, ask Grace to research Rada drums. Read the letter and journal in your inventory, then read the newspaper, before leaving the store.
Historical Voodoo Museum
Once the snake drops on you, quickly flip the light switch near the door.
Tulane University
Go to Hartridge's office to find he is dead. Take the notes from his desk then leave the university.
St George's Book Shop
Grace will pick a snake scale off your face and put it in the ashtray. Pick it up with your tweezers, then examine it with your microscope. Examine the original scale from the murder scene again and you will see that they match. EDIT : I posted before having read all the thread, sorry Marian, but between us we might have done the job !!

Mad, I so appreciate your help! You are the Sins of the Fathers expert here as you have probably played the game more than anyone else on GameBoomers. I need to replay this game soon - it's been quite a long while. Peter, let us know how you get on.

Thank you team for all your usual interest and advice— you never fail me and again, having sifted trough all of it I have managed to combine the two nasty snake scales- so , on my way again
Great video Marian- brings back fond memories of monkey island and broken sword.

I’m back again and in a complete mess. The tracker won’t work so I went back to the cemetery and have got the voodoo message on the wall. Nothing else seems to happen- any ideas?—Peter

did you put one of the little trackers in the sekey coffin? Did you get the tattoo on your belly? when you find the tracker in your inventory, you have to put it on Gabriel.

Yes tks I did all of that— I think thr problem is I didn’t get the translation in the cemetery— I got the voodoo message on the wall — 2 pages— but can’t see how to get the translation which is supposed to happen— Peter

Hi team - thanks as usual— managed to figure something out for myself for a change-
I hadn’t realised there were 3 letters in the tomb message.
Oncc I had figured them out it was all systems go.
