Taintedfury -
Snow is beautiful to look at but kind of a pain to drive on. I hope you get to see it some day because it is an awesome thing to observe when it is really coming down.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

Hi everyone, I don't post very often but I'm always here. I just took 2 dozen strawberry muffins out of the oven, so I think you will enjoy a nice warm muffin & a cappuccino. It's going down to -30c here tonight, now that's cold.

Judith, I know what minus 30 feels like, having lived in Toronto for a dozen years. We used to get terrible cold snaps.

And that's -22°F! COLD indeed! It would be too cold for my heat pump. We've occasionally seen minus 15 here on the coast, but nothing worse than that.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Goodmorning Everyone 👋 Hiya kaki's Sister A coffee & good breakfast goes down well especially when not sleeping well, The snow sounds wonderful but only when observing or having fun. G'day Space Quest Fan No doubt 🤷♂️ driving on the snow sounds awkward, though the view when it's falling would be a site to see.
Take care and Happy Gaming Boomers 🙋♀️

Another gloomy day, but at least it's raining so the snow is starting to melt.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Finally got the tree decorated today. Don't know why I bother - it's strictly for the entertainment of the cat!

Good evening one and all TaintedFury, it's always a treat to see you ... sleep well tonight. Gerry, strong brew is wonderful. Connie, I will definitely grab a cinnamon crunch bage as a treat. Hagatha, glad to hear the rain is taking care of the snow...hopefully the sun will come out and help too. Drac, not sure when we'll get our tree out...maybe this weekend? Judith, are you rooting for a particular team? Mad and SpaceQF, I believe the cat will thoroughly enjoy the tree. Have a wonderful evening everyone

My cat has definitely been enjoying the tree. I fully expect to see the bottom half undecorated with balls scattered everywhere tomorrow morning! I had to switch to unbreakable ornaments when she showed up here 16 years ago.

We finally stopped putting up a tree about 20 years ago when our cat Rachel decided that the tree was for climbing. We switched to a nice little miniature tree for the table, but Willow thinks the tiny little ornaments are for eating, so we stopped doing that, too.
Now I have a wreath on the front door and that's it.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Notice how what the cats do determines everything. Dogs have masters, cats have staff... I've realized that the cats are waking me up at night by racing around upstairs like two little ponies. I'll have to buy a large carpet for the dining room so I don't hear the thundering feet. I would argue that dogs have staff, too. I mean, having to walk them and pick up their leavings is about the same. At least with cats you don't have to outside in nasty weather.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
