Which one of what goes first? What game is this? Is this a Nancy Drew Game? If so, I would suggest looking at the walkthrough for the game here at GB. There are two walkthroughs for a game called Shadows at Waters Edge. See if one those will help. If not, there are probably YouTube videos of the game.
