I see that The Last of Us, Part 1 is coming to PC in March. So far it's showing up as a Steam release. I've heard many good things about the game and I think I'll check it out when it arrives.
Has anyone here played it on console? Any comments about the game? Good? Indifferent?

It's also starting on Netflix here in the US as a series on November 17th. I'm really looking forward to it!

I bet the PC release is timed to coincide with the TV series. The series does look good, and I love Pedro Pascal.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I pre-ordered this and having just got back went to download and install. Is it just me and the sorts of games I usually play, or is 77GB still a BIG download One for overnight methinks Can't wait to play though.

Holy smokes! 77 GB! It would definitely be a 24 hour download for me!

We have slow Internet sometimes so I guess this one will need a very long time to download.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Just fyi, the updates can also be quite large; currently downloading one that is 49GB and there was an earlier one of that same sort of size. Life permitting I can start playing soon

Holy smokes! Don't know if I would have tackled it with my old speed of a raging 12 Mbps - if I was lucky. I'm in heaven with my new service of 100 Mbps! So, maybe I will end up getting this one.

I just bought it so perhaps the next time I'm out for a whole day I'll download it.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I am assuming those patches overwrite some of the existing download so presumably downloading the game now shouldn't be cumulative?

I would assume that's the case, flotsam. From what I read about the game on-line, there were a lot of issues that needed to be addressed.

I've downloaded it but don't want to start as I'd like to have the time to fully immerse.
Anyone else started it yet?
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I'm with you on the first "start" of a game like this. I want no distractions and time to fully immerse. I haven't gotten it yet though...

Well, that was short-lived. It froze after playing for about 20 minutes -- and that's on my new Alienware.
Not off to a great start,

I updated my graphics drivers so hopefully that will help. I might have to do some tinkering with the settings but you'd think that laptop would be able to easily handle the game on high settings.
