You wake from a mechanical pod to find yourself in a room. An ‘avatar’ appears, telling you that she is dead but was once like you, a clean canvas and a blank mind. She says you are a Keeper, as was she, as they all were, and she will be your Mentor and teach you. She also says she will lie to you. She then gives you your Adjunct, a gauntlet-like apparatus that will be the way you interact with the world. Take it, and off you go. Find out more in flotsam's review of ******** Firmament ********

I certainly didn’t have any issues so can’t comment on what others might have experienced. I do know there have been 5 patches to date so presumably they fixed some things.

Since I haven't played the game, I can't say. But looking at the minimum and recommended hardware requirements, I'd say borderline hardware might have had something to do with it. The discussions on Steam have others with issues, but they don't give the hardware they are using.

Hi Guys
Ive just started playing this game (was really looking forward to it) but after 45 minutes of play I am really disappointed in it, the puzzles arent very taxing and they seem to be very repertitious, use your Adjunct to lock on to the keypad then it up, down, raise, lower, forward, back etc. I may be spoiled as I prefer games like the Sherlock Holmes and Broken Sword gendre, I will put this one on the back burnner and may come back to it later. This is my personal opinion so please dont judge the game on this, try the game and see what you think
ps I have an Intel core i3 processor, 16GB Ram and a Geforce GTX 1650 graphics card and have not problems running the game
Cheers SAFC
