LITTLE NIGHTMARES™ III follows the journey of Low and Alone, two friends looking for a way to escape The Nowhere – a whimsical and nightmarish world. As the two make their way through the Spiral, a cluster of disturbing and dangerous places, they encounter signature elements that have made LITTLE NIGHTMARES™ games unique, from clever puzzles and dangerous threats to memorable creatures such as Monster Baby.
LITTLE NIGHTMARES III will feature online co-op for the first time in the franchise, letting players take on the role of Low or Alone and experience this dreadful world with the help of a companion. The game will also be fully playable in single player with AI controlling the second character.
In the new 18-minute co-op gameplay video of LITTLE NIGHTMARES III, players will get immersed into the depths of The Necropolis and see how the two characters work together to overcome its many perils. A peculiar place raised from the desert sands and powered by gusting winds, The Necropolis has been described as a city of eternal energy and certain death. It used to be inhabited by the Dwellers, but nowadays the ancient metropolis is a ghost town fraught with dangers that Low and Alone must survive.
