This game is being developed by MachineGames, which made the Wolfenstein series. So this will be another Nazi-themed game for the studio. Both franchises are set in an alternate universe where the Nazis look for bizarre and powerful artifacts for world domination.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is gonna release Dec 8th. It has a $70 price tag attached to it just like the remake of Silent Hill 2 GamingPhreak. I won't wait a year or two for a decent discount like I will Silent Hill 2. I'll get it when it releases. It looks very good

I was watching Alabama's football game from last weekend when a commercial came on advertising it. Advertisement stated Dec 9th

If you want the price to lower to $55-60 you don't have to wait long. I bought Silent Hill 2 for $55 only two weeks after release from Green Man Gaming. There are several reputable third-party sellers of Steam codes, which also include GameBillet, Indiegala, Gamersgate, etc. They often get discounted codes from publishers and developers.

Steam might have a 10% off when it releases but who knows. I will keep an eye on those 3rd party sellers. Thank you GamingPhreak

This looks very good Kaki's Sister. Unfortunately it will not run on a Mac. The requirements(click on them) for PC/Windows are steep

Something I don't remember having seen before are pre-release reviews, so far 1700 - 91% positive. Indiana seems to be doing very well

EDIT: Those reviews are from pre-ordered Premium Editions. Those purchases got early access

Look what you will receive if you purchase the Collector's Edition for $190 through Amazon, Walmart or Bethesda.

Orion, pre-release reviews are quite common now on some sites. Maybe Steam was not doing this before, though - that does seem new. My son plays a lot of RPG PC and console games and we see pre-release reviews frequently on sites like Metacritic. Usually the reviews pop up a day or two before the official release date.

This game does look promising. smile

I might wait on getting it for now Kaki's Sister. I'm in the middle of 7th Guest VR and want to finish it before starting another. I don't know, we'll see. I would not mind checking out the beginning

It might not release until the 9th. Steam page states the 8th at 6pm EST yet the news states the 9th. Guess we will find out tomorrow

***

Thank you for that info Marian. I think it is a good idea to broadcast the game before release. I would like to see more of that on Steam. That might help with making a pre-purchase that comes with a special offer like earlier access or any bene for that matter. You get a good look at the game pryor release. I know that would help me in making that decision to pre-purchase

Orion I like to finish a game before starting a new one too. I like your idea though of checking out the beginning while you finish up 7th Guest. smile

This game is currently FREE at Humble Store (click here for the game page). I didn't believe it at first, but apparently this is legit, as I'm downloading the game myself right now. Just click Buy, Checkout, and you'll get the Steam code at the store. Then redeem it in your Steam client. If there was any caveat I didn't see it. I don't know how long this will last, and I can't find any announcement or news coverage of this. Bethesda apparently feels generous, as this is a $70 game. The $100 premium edition is free too. This is unbelievable. Naturally, the two editions are the top sellers at Humble Store right now (screenshot)

EDIT:

The link to order it is gone, so apparently it was a pricing error. The copy I redeemed will likely be gone too. They usually revoke licenses that are improperly obtained in situations like this.

When I started reading your post I thought this is too good to be true, no. There wasn't even a release discount on Steam. Bethesda does not work like that. They are a greedy bunch along with other issues many don't like. Charging 70 for a game.......unbelievable! I have not purchased it yet for that reason also I'm in the middle of another game. That usually does not stop me from a purchase but I keep looking at that $. I need to check out those 3rd party's you mentioned. I will end up getting it, I want to give it a try. It has good reviews so far and looks very good

Did they take the game from you? Did you get into any of it?

I wonder how many went after that free offer

Thank you for the almost great news

EDIT: I got it 16% off through Greenman Gaming. I'll have to check it out. It's 112.5 GIG download. That is the most I have ever installed

The game is already gone from my Steam library, so it didn't take long. I've played about 3 hours of it. The "Raiders of the Lost Ark"-inspired opening is great fun. $60 (or less) would be a good price if I were to pay for it, since I've made it my personal policy not to pay the now-standard $70 SRP for any game, ever. I understand inflation and all that, but sometimes I just...have to to draw the line.

The system requirements in your link show that "GPU hardware ray-tracing" is required across the board, even for minimum settings. That means your video card needs to have built-in ray-tracing, such as Nvidia RTX cards. If your doesn't have it you can't play the game at all. This, I believe, is a first. In all past games, as far as I know, ray-tracing was only optional. But this game makes it mandatory.
