A young Ozzy Osbourne contemplates whether to blow the candles out, or to eat them...
To waste one second of one's life is a betrayal of one's self. I wonder what's on television...?

Grandmother's prayer...
Bless my daughter's heart, for her strength and her son's future.
May his eyeliner stay sharp, his lipstick never smudge, his mascara never clump, and his foundation always match his neck.

Initially, her parents were so relieved when Sadie finally moved out of the "Furries" craze.

Hey Uncle Ed ... My birthday party?
Sigh...
It's like this weird clash between wanting to celebrate and wanting to disappear into the shadows. I mean, don't get me wrong, I appreciate the sentiment and all, but the whole idea of being the center of attention just feels...off. Then there's the whole act of actually enjoying the party. How do I explain to Aunt Martha why I'm not thrilled about receiving a gift basket of sunshine-thingys?
Sigh...
No worries, I'll sneak off early and spend the rest of the night listening to The Cure in my room.
