Mad, I have searched all over for a walkthrough and found one but it never says to pick up the begger's shoe when he pulls it off - do I have to? Also, after leaving the tavern, I am supposed to go to the map and go to a new castle that has vampires but it isn't on the map. the only thing that I can think of is that I need to get that begger's slipper but i am never fast enough. Do you know what I might have missed that I can't get into that castle? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just wrote to Mad on discussions forum about this game but maybe somebody else can help me. I am not fast enough to get the begger's slipper - do I need that? I have followed a walkthrough to the letter but the castle is not on the map and I need to go there next - according to the walkthrough. What do I need to do to get that on the map? thanks.

Sorry I missed your post about Galador but now I have seen it I'm afraid I can't really help.

I don't actually remember the scene at this late date and, although I can point you to more than one written walkthrough, ALL those I've looked at merely say to get the slipper "as soon as possibe", or words to that effect, which isn't much help !!

I do hope you can manage to get it somehow

Yippppeeeee. I just got that dang slipper. I gave up and got out of the game and played a different game to calm down and just now tried it again and on the 2nd try I was able to get it. You have to be fast and stand in the right place, I think. I immediately saved it there so hopefully now I can get on with the game. Thanks everyone!
