How do I get rid of Steam?
Is there a simple way of doing this, because I don't want to use Steam any more - I will stick with GOG.

Assuming you use Windows you can always try the uninstall option. There should be one somwhere. I'm sure you can get more detailed help from other Gameboomers. But they will want to know which OS you use.

Good luck smashpc

Just uninstall it. I see Marian has already found a link for instructions. If you have purchased games at Steam, they will still be there...

Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

Titanic worked OK for a while, but now it has gone back to its old ways.

When I try to run it it refuses to do anything at all , announcing 'Fatal error in line 4288 'code 32'

Recenrly, I managed to download the game from Gog again, but after a few minutes of playing, it halts again, and up comes 4288 error again.

Is this a wel known glitch, or is more likely that am doing the wrong thing.

I see quite a few people reporting game crashes with Titanic on both GOG and Steam.

GOG has a technical section about this game - you might want to check out this page here and click on where it says "stability issues."
