Paris – June 26, 2024 – Microids and studio [2.21] are proud to announce Little Big Adventure - Twinsen's Quest and unveil its reveal trailer! Originally released in 1994 under the name Little Big Adventure, this classic action-adventure game created by Frédérick Raynal (Alone in the Dark) was a massive worldwide success.

Little Big Adventure - Twinsen's Quest will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC in autumn 2024.
With a new artistic direction, modernised gameplay and all-new music composed by Philippe Vachey, this remake recaptures the magic of the original game while incorporating today's know-how. Players will be able to rediscover the enchanting world of the Twinsun planetoid, master the Magic Ball for bouncy adventures and immerse themselves in a deeply themed narrative, while exploring levels that have been redesigned for greater fluidity. Little Big Adventure - Twinsen's Quest promises to appeal to nostalgic fans and new players alike with its timeless charm.

About Little Big Adventure - Twinsen’s Quest :
The story takes place on a planetoid with two suns, where four species lived in perfect harmony... Until the day Dr. Funfrock, a brilliant scientist, invented cloning and teleportation, gradually bringing the inhabitants under his total control. Playing as Twinsen, you are a model citizen who overnight becomes a fugitive pursued by Dr. Funfrock’s henchmen. Throughout your journey from island to island, you must tirelessly search for the other rebels and form an underground network to end the clone occupation. Armed with your mysterious Magic Ball, which becomes more and more powerful as the adventure progresses, only you are capable of overturning the powers that be...

Game features:
• Plunge into a unique universe enhanced by a brand new look.
• The Magic Ball brought into 2024, promising a range of challenges against the clones.
• Redesigned controls.
• Travel across the entire planet and discover reimagined islands in an open world.
• An action-adventure game mixed with exploration.
• A brand-new soundtrack by the original composer, Philippe Vachey

Little Big Adventure - Twinsen’s Quest will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch et PC in autumn 2024.

Thanks so much, Ana! I bought this game when it was first released - but never finished it. It was a good game, though. I just wasn't very good at it. wave

This is great news Ana, thank you! As soon as this releases I will be getting it to give it another try

I played both Twinsen's Adventures when they released:

Little Big Adventure

Little Big Adventure 2

Like you Marian I had difficulty with them but liked them both. What got me interested in them were the locations Twinsen was gonna visit on his journey. I have always liked playing Isometric games. The pics at the time on the originals looked good. I liked their settings

You can take a look at the originals on GOG. GOG has them both playable on today's computers. Steam has them as well but play on earlier operating systems up to Win 8

It's good to see Microids is publishing the game. The developer, [2.21], are not only working on this title but are remastering Twinsen's Little Big Adventure 2 publishing it themselves:

Steams

GOGs

EPICs

Orion, having played the original way back when I was excited about this new version. I had loads of fun looking forward to the complete game. Make sure you leave a review— it helps 😁

Twinsun’s Odyssey was the game that showed me there was more to games than Quake!
I look forward to this smile

PS Downloaded the demo and my immediate reaction is the controls leave a lot to be desired

I got around to trying the demo. For me using the keyboard was next to impossible. Character movement reminded me somewhat of Syberia 3. Now you add fighting to that character movement. It gave me a hard time. Needless to say I did not get very far into the demo. It looks like controller is the way to go like you have mentioned Winfrey. Were you able to get through the demo without much issue?

I watched your controller video. You did better than I did using the ball. I definitely did a lot better using the controller better than the keyboard. Briefly watching your keyboard video I saw an area you missed in the controller video. This was an early release of the game demo and they are still working on some issues.

Good to hear the controller did you better Winfrey. Those videos are not mine. I did not record them. I found them on Google searching "Announcing Little Big Adventure - Twinsen’s Quest Demo walkthrough". If I was about 30 yrs younger I might have considered recording but that time has come and gone. It's nice we have many out there doing so for us. I imagine they are very time consuming

I hope some of those issues they are working on will be keyboard character control. It certainly needs it. Thank you
