The dog's society `Adopt a Human' scheme was obviously going to fail in this case unless the human relented & shared her dinner.

There was an old woman who ate in a cage,
Her hunger and cravings were all her dog's rage.
She munched on some crackers, she nibbled on bread,
While Ginger her dog, looked on shaking his head.

Her cage was really small, but she didn't mind,
She loved all her meals and every flavor she'd find.
Whether mornings or night, she'd feast and she'd dine,
On fruits and on veggies, while Ginger would pine.

Hey, wasn't this supposed to be a dog's breakfast

If I continue to stare, relentlessly, she is bound to give in and toss me a bit of something ….

Every bite you take,
Every move you make,
I'll be watching you.

Whew. With so many worthy candidates on my plate, this decision was ROUGH.

But in the end, I find I'm inclined
