Thanks Ana! I'm interested in the games, trailers, screenshots, but not all the hoopla prior to the games hitting my library laugh .

I probably won't have time, but it sounds really interesting. Thanks, Ana!

Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

Thanks for posting this, Ana. I meant to do so myself before the convention, but the last few weeks have been rather a blur. crazy

The fan fair itself is now over, but the companion Steam event will run for a few more days.

The weekend was great, and everyone seemed to have fun! Made fast friends with new people, saw some great games, and it was incredibly surreal to be rubbing shoulders with a who's who of all the big Sierra legends.

Anyway, we'll be releasing polished-up footage from the livestreams sometime in the foreseeable future, for anyone who wants to watch after the fact. It won't be the same as being there, but there are a ton of great guest panels to choose from!

Thanks, Singer! It was fun getting to see all of those Sierra people again who used to live in my neck of the woods.

And yes, Legend Entertainment is indeed criminally underrated (what you said at one point). I agree completely!

I was thinking that for the Spring 2026 fan fair, maybe see if you could try to get Bob Bates on board? I think he would make a great guest.

I'm 95% certain we did invite Bob Bates and he couldn't make it this year. But he's absolutely on a list for future years, as we hope to keep doing these!

Fantastic! Thanks so much for filling us in. This was a really ambitious undertaking and here's hoping that it will continue. smile

I promise I won't keep spamming this thread, but I wanted to share this short video put together by Pixel Pond Productions with some very cool reactions to the AGFF, which really seems to capture the vibe of everyone who attended: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNS2i_KiH24&ab_channel=AdventureGameHotspot

Really nice video! I was also so happy to see Stephen Walker (AdventureGameGeek) participating in all of this, too. Such a great guy, and his involvement is so well deserved. Roberta and Ken, Jane and Lori and Corey and the rest of the gang all seem genuinely pleased and touched at the turnout, the interest expressed, and hearing what these games have meant to so many. Not to get maudlin, but it really does make me feel all warm and fuzzy. Well done to all responsible for this event!

One thing that struck me is that in the livestreams and photos that I have seen, it would appear that male attendees outnumbered female attendees by quite a margin. Maybe this surprises me because I have been hanging out on GameBoomers now for 24 years and there are so many female adventure gamers here. Either way, I would have thought that women might have shown up in greater numbers. Or maybe they did, and I am just delusional (which is always a possibility!).

There were definitely more men than women, but there were a fair number of women too, so it didn't feel too overly skewed at the time. But we'd certainly welcome more next time!
