Quote
The finest in Edutainment for all ages. Pay once, play forever. No ads.

Follow the trails, hunt through abandoned ruins, and caves as you solve puzzles and try to avoid traps laid by a bandit. Travel through breathtaking scenes that showcase clay sculpted characters. This is not a game of action and shooting, but is peppered with fun surprises.

If you like to wander and figure things out while you hunt for treasures of gold in more than 15 fascinating Inca sites, this game is for you whether you are a seasoned adventure gamer or are new to the genre. There are 3 levels of difficulty which can be switched during play and your earned awards will be on display in your game.

We hope that beyond the fun, The Ransom of Atawallpa (*Quechua for Atahualpa) will inspire you to dig deeper into the many mysteries of the Incas still hidden in Perú.

Playable with Mouse and Touchscreen

Happy Gaming!

Thank you for posting this, Ana. We are taking a deep breath after 7 years to get this game out and is now available for PCs and MacOS. Now I'll have more time to come visit here. I've missed too many GameBoomer Birthdays!!!!! 💖

What the heck. My avatar went away. I'll see if I can update that. OK, that was a graphic I had on Photobucket that I got rid of. So, this is the new me for now. I may change it later

Hi and thanks for the game! I bought it from Steam and I am not sure how to progress. Is there a tutorial? I figured out the hung threads but now it just seems I am walking around clicking on stuff without direction.

Thank you, KatieB! Tap the llama first, then drag and drop any gold you find to the llama. The next scene has a stone that you can use to break the pot for more gold. Then in the scene to the left there is a puzzle. The things that you tap that have educational value bling and entry into the game journal. Tap the footprint icon to see where you can travel. You will come to one that you will have to collect water to proceed. Good luck! P.S. there isn't a tutorial, but if you go to the Options page from the main menu you will see a link to Instructions for more information that may help. And, I'll be happy to help if you get stuck. P.S. there is a spoiler walkthru for Ch01 on our webpage and I'll post the answers to the crossword puzzle soon.

Thank you, Pugwash! We have been trying to get on GOG, but haven't gone through enough hoops I guess. I'll boost the post when we finally succeed.
