I went to start Beyond Time and Space up and got this message:

I uninstalled/installed twice but keep getting the same messages. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on here? I cannot not start this one up

If you trust it then there should be somewhere in McAfee that you can mark it as a safe file and then you would have to download the game again. Don't ask me to be more exact because I can't, but I have had to do it with Norton before.

One of the reasons I don't use McAfee. Try going into settings and see if you can find and mark this file as an exception or safe or something like that. Thanks, oldbroad... spot on!

This is a false positive, so you should also report it to McAfee so that they are aware of this issue. You are going to need to exclude the game executable file so that McAfee will allow it to run. Not sure how you do this in McAfee, but google will bring up some places that will give you directions.

I can restore the file but I continue to get the same messages when I try to start up the game.

I installed the game again then I went the the launcher.exe to start up the game. That file was instantly removed and the messages came up again. I restored the exe file, it came back but every time I try to launch the game it is removed and quarantined

I am trying to find a way to mark it as safe in McAfee. I'm only finding that restore which is not working

Enjoy, Orion. I played the Telltale series and liked them all, though they can get tedious at times. I (think) these remastered ones are more "politically correct" so may not have quite the same humor, but I don't know all that for a fact.
