I started to play Art of Muder 2 : Hunt for the Puppeteer (on Win7) and all was OK.
[And I checked that my save had worked and would load on request.]

However, after I saved and quit a message box briefly appeared on Desktop saying an incompatible file had been blocked.
So I investigated and it turned out to be "Tages".
I think this was a form of copy protection ??

I immediately started the game again - from my save - and played on for a while - with no bad happenings !!

So I'm wondering .... if the file has been blocked and the game appears to be playing normally, am I likely to encounter problems as I progress ??

Yes, Tages was commonly used as DRM copy protection in the past. If it was blocked on your computer, that's a good thing. I think you can play on and enjoy your game!
