Having more problems with this elderly game.

Is there a way that I can delete all of the Saved Games so that I can restart with a clean sheet?

I realise that unistalling and then reinstalling is a waste of time, but the attempts that I made to make it run correctly has resulted in a large number of unwanted saves.

Hi Peter, I have moved your post over to Glitches as you are asking a technical question. Are you playing the game download from GOG? Or from Steam? Or did you install the game from a CD?

Sorry, I forgot to ask: are you running the game through GOG Galaxy? If you are, GOG has a page explaining how to delete the saves, and I can post the link here.

Hi, you can find the link here.

I have never tried this myself so have no experience with it. You are most likely using GOG's Cloud save feature in Galaxy unless you instructed it not to. I think it automatically saves this way by default.

That seems to have done the trick.

Thanks Marian

Just as a matter of interest, does the same fix apply for Steam?

When I decided to uninstall Steam and stick with Gog to play Titanic, I was advised that the games that had been installed by Steam would still be there even after uninistalllig Steam itself.

To my mind, that suggests that it is possible that the computer would be given the option of switching to the Steam version of the game under some circumstances.

I think you would have to reinstall Steam first unless you downloaded the games to your computer and chose to play off-line. If any saves were in the Steam cloud, you would need their client to access them.

Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.
