I got these Boots of Blinding Speed and guess what I'm blind. How much willpower resistance do you need to wear them? Is there a potient you can make? Also, I would like to break into the Hlaau vault and get that full suit of glass armor, but I never can get past guards, as in I couldn't do it at the Telvanni vault either. I want that suit of armor for now. I got a suit of Ebony armor, but it's so heavy I can't carry much loot and the Feather spell is so short I can't get anywhere before I'm over-encumbered.

Hi debra,
To counteract the blindness you need to have an item that casts resist magicka. what you should do is make a spell that gives 100 % resist magica for 3 seconds. Equip the boots. cast the spell and when it wears off the effects still last. yes this is a bug. I do not know if this bug is present in the x-box version.
You can also make a night eye spell. this works too if you do not wan to take advantage of a bug. But it will not work as well. There is also an armor you can find that gives you a constant 60 % resist magicka.

Hi debra,
Making a spell is just about identical to enchanting. Instead of seeing an enchanter you see a spellmaker. The process is the same. YOu pick a spell from a list of effects. LIke in enchanting you must have already bought a spell in order for it to appear on the list. The same parameters appear.
The spell I made was resist magicka 60% for 4 seconds on self as 100% was too costly.
YOU could also do it through enchanting. I have a shirt( I think it is exquisite as the value is 120) and it had resist magicka 100% for 4 seconds on self. It is cast when used.
I got the order mixed up. YOu want to cast the spell first then equip the boots.
Enchanting is great as you can make so many powerful items.

Hi debra,
You don't have to necessarily buy the resist magicka spell from a spellmaker, just from any spell seller.
I have a list of spell sellers, not sure of how accurate it is but it says that Sharn Gra Muzgob in the mages guild in Balmora sells one.
Then you go the the spellmaker to make one exactly as you want it if the stock spell does not suit your needs.

To get the Glass Armor in Hlaau Vault, just drop all your stolen goods and pick the lock. You'll have to pay a 5 gold fine for each of the two traps and two locks. By the way, it's not a full set of glass armor. It's everything but the gloves. I love it because I'm mainly a theif and use light armor.
