Oh, and you can play the first chapter on Steam RIGHT NOW!
After the overwhelmingly successful release of free to play fan game, “The Booze of Monkey Island” Bean Adventure Agency has decided to double down and create a fully fledged title of their own. Join Tango Rio, a cynical postman on a reluctant quest to uncover his missing father’s true fate. Set in a vibrant tropical archipelago filled with ancient secrets, Tango’s journey promises depth, comedy, and plenty of surprises.
To bring this game to life with the highest standards in animation and gameplay, Bean Adventure Agency also announces the launch of a Kickstarter campaign. The goal is to accelerate the game’s development, though the full release is guaranteed regardless of the campaign's outcome!
Join Tango’s Quest In The Adventures of Tango Rio, players meet Tango, a postman whose predictable (until now) life is turned upside down when a letter from his father, now missing for two years, leads him to leave Italy and journey to the enigmatic Aloe Archipelago. Far from thrilled, Tango soon finds himself navigating a world of Polynesian folklore, Vatican prophecies, and time-traveling disasters.
From secret rituals to wild dances and ancient prophecies, the game combines a cartoon-inspired style reminiscent of classic LucasArts titles with modern animation influences, creating a look that feels both timeless and fresh.
Nostalgia Meets New Frontiers Drawing from the whimsical spirit of beloved 90s games like Day of the Tentacle and The Curse of Monkey Island, The Adventures of Tango Rio combines nostalgia with a fresh take inspired by recent animated productions. The hand-drawn art style and detailed animations give each scene a living, breathing quality, adding warmth and charm that will resonate with both classic adventure fans and new players alike.
Crowdfunding and Community Involvement With the Kickstarter campaign, Bean Adventure Agency is inviting the gaming community to become part of Tango’s journey. Contributions will help ensure The Adventures of Tango Rio reaches its full potential, with the quality and polish fans of the genre have come to expect.
“We’re excited to welcome players to be part of this adventure from the very beginning,” says Emanuele Baronti, founder of Bean Adventure Agency. “With people’s support, we can make this game even more immersive, expanding the world Tango navigates, adding layers of detail to the puzzles and characters players will encounter along the way, as well as more dubbing, translations, and so on - so adventure fans, unite!”
You can support The Adventures of Tango Rio on Kickstarter now, as well as wishlisting the game on Steam and trying out the demo!
Happy Gaming!

I was going to put this on my wishlist but there is something on the Steam page that I'm not comfortable with. Some games require agreement to a 3rd party EULA and you can read the EULA terms (even if you might not understand them). This game just says it requires a 3rd party account: Emanuele Baronti. Can anyone explain this? I see from the Kickstarter that he is the "game designer, writer, and artist" but it sounds like you're sharing your account with him if you buy the game.
