Here we are again, a new year and a new Carol Reed game. Carol is contacted by her old acquaintance, Immodia. She reveals that a horrid, inexplicable family tragedy from her childhood has haunted her for all of her adult life. She has lost all hope to ever comprehend what led up to the tragedy a long time ago. But when she gets a strange message from her mother, after 24 years of silence, she decides to reach out to Carol. Find out more in flotsam's review of ******** Carol Reed Mystery, Murder Malady ********
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

Fabulous review, Drac.
I am recovering from knee surgery slowly. Murder Malady is just the ticket and has everything wonderful about Carol Reed. Right off the bat, I have found but failed to record a clue in a spot that I have no notion how to find again except that it is somewhere in a deserted mink farm. Carol does this to me regardless of whether my mind is foggy from medication. It is one of the maddening and delightful things about her that Mikael does so brilliantly. I'm a little surprised I found her phone so readily but then I know the apartment pretty well by now. Come to think of it, what is anyone going to do with that strategic pickle supply in the kitchen cupboards?
Carol Reed is one of my favorites. Just knowing there is new one gives me a contented sigh of relief that commonsense and continuity linger on the world. Thanks, Mikael.
