More an interactive story than a game (depending of course on your definition),
this particular haunting provides a solid 4 hours or so of guided remembering and personal discovery.

Joni lives alone in what was the family mansion, and on this day a disagreement
of some sort with her friend Edith has arrived home with her. We learn the bones
of what that has involved as Joni goes about mundane tasks; changing clothes,
tidying the kitchen and taking out the garbage. We hear Joni’s thoughts as she
reflects on what has occurred, and it’s an aspect that remains prominent throughout the tale.

Very nice review. I like a good mystery and don't mind walking around to solve it including taking out the garbage. I have picked it up but have yet to try it. Thank you flotsam for your time on this and thank you Drac for the post

I'm playing it now. Probably about half way through. Starts out relatively easy but becomes harder. To be honest not the greatest game I've played lately but thank goodness no QTE (at least so far).

Just FYI the makers continue to respond to feedback, and a recent patch addressed a number of issues and requests, including with respect to saving. There is more detail at the Steam page.
