Good morning, Danish, Donuts and Bagels in the Break Room. Fogfighter, we have a full bar, so alcohol flows. Jack and Pam are our hosts for trivia. There are 3 rounds. Round 1, 10 regular off beat questions 1 point. Round 2, 4 music questions. we need to put the song, the performer, and a connection between them for an extra point, 3 words where you need to get the connection between them, 2 word jumbles, and last is closest to the pin, which is a question needing a year as the answer 2 points. Round 3 are the devastatingly difficult questions as Jack would say worth 5 points. The 3 rounds are then totaled to get the winning team. Our team won this week and two weeks ago. First and third Sat. are Trivia, second and fourth are karaoke. I hope that wasn't too much information. Enjoy the day and hug someone.

It's supposed to be obscenely warm here the next couple of days - like in the upper 60's and 70's F! Then, back down to normal cold.

I woke up this morning to snow. It's really coming down, too. Unfortunately I had to get to Comox to pick up a prescription but hat will have to wait until tomorrow, I guess. I will try to get to Pilates class as I've got to get to the store anyway. My CRV should be able to handle the roads.

Good Monday morning! Just got back from hubby's PT appointment and taking care of the chickens and Wally the barn cat.

We are looking at the mid-70's here too, soot. Unnatural for early February, but it's heading back down to normal temps tomorrow. Be careful out there in the snow, hagatha!

Good morning everyone; well, we are in a bit of a cold snap. -16F with wind chill of -26F or -27C with wind chill -32C. February came in with a nasty attitude.

Now that is cold, judith!

Our temps have gone up and it's 54 here right now. What they call the "Pineapple Express" is supposed to arrive tomorrow, bringing with it atmospheric rivers (lots of rain, in other words). It should be cleared out by Friday and I sure hope we don't lose power over it. At least I have my books to fall back on if it goes out.

Amazing how warm it is for February across the US! Yesterday morning we had snow and by midday it was 45 degrees and the snow was melting! It will turn colder today with more snow expected Thursday.

Over here 2 Celsius and cloudy. Construction works still ongoing on the other side of my wall. But the end is near and they have stopped using power tools. Yay for that.

Good Wednesday morning! Here I am with the early risers and Fogfiighter in another time zone. Hubby has a very early morning appointment with the Pain Management Clinic this morning to schedule a nerve block for his lower back. I am NOT a morning person, so I'm glad to see the WADDB is ready!

I'm snowed in. Nobody is driving anywhere, and people aren't even walking. It would be a lovely change, except that I have run out of one of my prescriptions. I can last until tomorrow if I have to, and hopefully by then the main roads will be plowed and the side roads passable.

It's a good day for gaming.
