No wonder! That would be awful... have you ever tried taking a motion sickness med such as Dramamine first?

I'm not either. Well, except for my blood pressure meds and my blood thinner! I'd be dead without them.

I am certain my next game will be a hit too, Mikael! Regarding the mouse movement puzzling, turning radio dials, turning a safe dial, and lock picking. Can't remember what else. I did most of the lock picking but skipped the last two, though I did attempt them. I do not have the space to move my mouse all around to the left and right and up and down. It even caused me to lose some little sticky piece on the bottom of my mouse. For the safe, I was able only to get the first two numbers and then I would run into trouble so I looked at the solution in a walkthrough so I could focus on the correct areas and try to stop the mouse where it needed to be stopped. The doll puzzle was a bit frustrating but not nearly as bad for me as those other things. And, thanks Draclvr! I'm sure I will!

I'm glad that you liked my game, oldbroad! I'm catching up with some oldies at the moment, and currently play Secret Files: Tunguska. I absolutely LOVE it. I honestly wasn't expecting that much from this game, but I find it almost impeccable. The puzzles are almost always complex, and requires use of multiple inventory objects, but they can always be solved with a little patience and quite a lot of pixel hunting (of which both suit me just fine). And they're never illogical, albeit far-fetched at times, but that's OK, and most of the times just funny. I constantly get stuck, but always get that rewarding feeling of fulfilment when I manage to proceed. The story arc is very run-of-the-mill, and I could have written it myself after two bottles of wine, but the dialogue is exceptionally well-written and often hilarious. Yesterday, I laughed out loud at this line exchange: - I've given you my promise as a politician. - Yes, but can you help me anyway? And the best of all: There are 3 sequels to this game.

I am about 3 hours in Mikael and so far they haven't been terribly difficult but they do happen reasonably regularly. I am tending to explore with my gun permanently drawn just in case. If you die though you just respawn, and with your inventory intact. Its nothing like an FPS though, and dexterity hasn't been an element (more like just see it coming and shoot it). I am enjoying it immensely so don't let the action put you off.

The red line is your health oldbroad. You will see it decline if you get walloped. You can restore it with elixirs you might find. Not sure about the door closed/open issue but the game seems to remember the things you had done before you were killed, so perhaps you opened the door which then got you killed but the door now remains open. You will have noticed too that you commence again at the entry point to the area you are in, not the exact place you were when you exited. You will find more ammo - it tends to be in larger amounts but in less locations (as opposed to a few bullets all over the place). I have had just over 100 for the last couple of hours. The area certainly is big and very open. I reckon just keep looking, note what needs to be done when you find something as well as where it is. A few times I haven't remembered where things were that needed doing. To date I have found the feedback from the game as to what I might do next rather good. You will also find at some stage you have an inventory item called notes which gets added to as you find crucial bits of information (you will get a little scribbly sound and the icon appearing mid-right) so check back there from time to time. And you may also discover a hint system. Hope that helps, and call out if you need anything else.
