Hi.
I've been happily playing Murder in the Abbey on and off for some time, on my WinXP3 machine, but last week the game suddenly crashed and I couldn't get out of it and had to just switch the machine off

And when I started it up again I could only get as far as the XP Welcome Screen, where everything froze again.
My Son-in-Law had a quick look for me and found the mouse had conked and replaced it with one of my (SP2) spares.
Well, today is the first chance I've had to see if the game will now work but it won't.
I get a message that says it won't initialise

So, I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it - only to get that same message

My Son-in:Law won't be able to look again for a long time so I wondered if anyone here might have any suggestions ??
If it's any help my XP specs. from old notes are :-
