He is so different too hagatha. I haven't seen J&W but his abaility to do comedy came to my attention in Blackadder. I could never have imagined at the time that George could then become House.

The second season of 1923 has started! Yippee!
Gardens put to bed. Time for more reading and gaming.

Just started on 1923 having finally watched all of Yellowstone (most of it more than once!) - looks promising, although I could not help thinking about Wilbur Smith yarns during the African scenes (not necessarily in a bad way). Also well into Silo season two and starting on season 3 of Reacher, which sadly seems to have become rather plodding after the excellent first season. Bodies looks/sounds interesting...

Flotsam, Jeeves and Wooster is Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry, and it's utterly hilarious. It's based on PG Wodehouse, of course, with Laurie playing Bertie Wooster, a silly but harmless rich man who gets himself into ridiculous scrapes, and Fry playing his butler/minder. It's not streaming anywhere now, I don't think. I bought the DVD's a while back, just in case I want to watch it again.
House is a bit repetitive, as with any procedural-type show, although of course House himself is pretty entertaining. Right now it's perfect for my daily stationary bike session. I can watch it and cycle and it keeps the cycling from being boring.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

Did you watch Blackadder hagatha? Its an ensemble cast through the ages, and you can pick it up at any of the 4 seasons. The first season in my opinion is the weakest, the middle two being the best. Shame about J&W not being readily available. Fry and Laurie do work well together. I just rewatched Station 11. Third time through, and its still compellingly moving (it helps I cant remember all the details )

flotsam, I've only seen a few episodes of Blackadder. I might grab the DVDs for my growing collection of legacy shows like Jeeves and Wooster, Absolutely Fabulous and of course Fawlty Towers.
I finished House after a couple of weeks of major bingeing. Overall I enjoyed it, but it did suffer from a bit or repetition with the medical stuff.
Right now I'm watching Season 2 of GyeongSeong Creature. It's entertaining but not nearly as well crafted as the first season, which I loved.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

The current series of Reacher has picked up quite a bit and I am enjoying that, also Bodies and an excellent gritty short new series with Stephen Graham on Netflix, Adolescence

I'm watching Adolescence right now. It's terrifying and sad.
I'm so glad that when I was a teenager in high school we didn't have to contend with social media. Our school was remarkably tame, and all of us boringly well-behaved. I remember being utterly shocked when a classmate hurled a racial epithet at our Chinese-Canadian biology teacher. I don't think any of us had experienced that before. We just weren't in each other's faces all the time.

I too just finished Adolescence. Rivetting stuff. I loved how the single take halped draw you in, and the third episode in particular was gut-punchingly compelling.

The scene in the first episode, with the father and son in the police station, was shocking and moving.
I'm at a loss as to what to watch now, having finished Season 2 of Severance, which is hard to top.
I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
