I think I am going crazy with this game. The only goal appears to be getting coins to buy what I assume is beer?!

Thanks for any insight.

Are you by any chance referring to the game Deja Vu that can be found on Big Fish here? The game description does not seem to match with what you are describing, though.

Yes. I am. Maybe I'll have to start over because I had stopped for awhile and the hint button keeps bringing me back to the drinking machine. Thanks for any help.

Well. I'm sitting here scratching my head. Why in the blankety blank did I buy this dumb game? If I were a 12 to 14 year old boy, maybe. But all this game is buying drinks and playing numerous archade games over and over. Unless I missed something?

That is so weird, Laurette. It doesn't look or sound like what you are describing. I found that I actually have this game but haven't played it. You're making me curious!

Well, I just looked in my Purchase History, and I also have the game. No memory whatsoever of having purchased it! lol

By the way, if the title of this game isn't just a throwaway, remembering/doing the same thing over and over again would fit. However, it seems to me that there must be more to the game than that.

I may try to download it later today and try it out. I'll post again if I do.

Laurette, how far in to the game are you?

I have started it and gotten to the hotel. So far, it appears to be a fairly normal game, though either the clues in a HO scene were backwards or I am. For instance "the ones without umbrellas" to me meant, click on the people not holding umbrellas, but it actually wanted me to click on the people who were holding them.

That sounds like a developer who could not afford to have the game translated well - but perhaps that will improve.

Yeah, I'm okay with poor translations as long as I can figure it out. smile

I'm at the gas station trying to fish something out of the sewer. Needs quick reflexes.

When I went back in the game I could not seem to do anything. Thankfully you posted that link to Pazu's walkthrough, Marian, and I was able to see the hot spot that I was missing. Managed the sewer thing somehow but later there are two areas where you have to paste posters up. I did the first one without issue but in the second one, they start to get removed and you have to replace them so that all of them are pasted up. After a while, I got tired of that and hit the skip button. I am in the middle of Pazu's part 6. I have not encountered anything like what Laurette described. I'm thinking this is not the same game. I wish she'd come back to let us know.

i did play the game and it was somewhat fun. What the problem was is I finished, went to extras and ended up in bonus chapter which is the drink/game repetition part.

Weird

Ah, okay Laurette. Thanks for clarifying. It is a different type of game which is not a bad thing. I'm glad your post peaked my interest to play it.

Okay, weird game. At the end you make a choice. The first choice I made, I guess was the happy ending. The game crashed with a fatal error before quite finishing to the credits. (I watched it on the walkthrough - I hadn't really missed anything.) I tried the same choice again with the same result so that gave me the opportunity to try the other ending which went by a little to fast for me to figure out really what happened and then it jumped me into the bonus game which is an amusement park. You play hogs and get money to use for beer as Laurette said or to play some arcade games such as a shooting range. I think there are five arcade games to play. I tried each of them once. In the main game I did skip two more puzzles I think besides the poster pasting one.
