These puzzles are driving me crazy. crazy I just spent another 2-1/2 hours on them. I got one of them in about 45 minutes. The rest of the time was spent trying to get the last one with no luck. I haven't lost my patience yet though. smile

You have a lot of patience! When I played this game I was playing it with someone else and we gave up on one puzzle after about 90 minutes, I remember. Again, good luck!

I *finally* got past my time management game stuck level. Whew!

Two more days and approximately 4 more hours and I still could not solve the last one of the four puzzles. I used the guide and wrote down every single move (don't ask how many) and solved it that way. crazy I think though that I have used up all my patience now, so future puzzles may get skipped if they don't co-operate nicely and quickly. lol

There is nothing else anywhere near as difficult as those four. Enjoy the rest. (Beware: You will think you are almost at the end of the game, and Whoosh - off it goes in another direction.)

Stuck on level 58 of 60 in Turbo Subs.

Started Avalon Legends Solitaire, a really good solitaire game.

You can do it, Marian! rah

I have finished the main game of Grim Tales: The Legacy and will tackle the bonus chapter today. I admit to using the guide for about 3 more of the puzzles which didn't hold my interest enough to give them the time I gave to those other four.

I have also been playing Legend of Maya, a Match 3 game. I am somewhere around Level 125. I think the levels started repeating around 115, though I am not absolutely certain of that. It's keeping me entertained when I don't feel like puzzling.

I do remember The Legacy as being a pretty long game. I will have to check out Legend of Maya.

Yes, I can probably get past level 58 eventually - I just needed a break. Enough fails and I start to get a mental block about it. Thank you for the encouragement!

Left in the Dark: No One on Board was pretty short. I finished it two nights ago. I did skip one puzzle towards the end of the game where you had to pick 3 locks and you were on a timer. I got the first one but got frustrated rather quickly with the second one and skipped it.

Tonight I started Ghost Encounters - Deadwood in Windows 10. According to Gamehouse it does not play in Win 10. I played for about an hour but I can't say it's running fine. It is very slow and sluggish at times and I sometimes have to wait after clicking to see if something will happen or not. Although, my computer seems to be kind of slow and sluggish this evening anyway so I'm not sure how much of that is the game. I think mostly it is the game though. We'll see what happens going forward.

Edit: Well, I played for another hour and I can pretty much tell now when it will not be responsive. For instance, there is movement like flames around the hint button. If they go still, my click won't work. If they are flickering, I'm good to go. Just need to keep patient and aware. However, I am playing in Expert mode so I have to click around quite a lot as there are no action indicators including on the HO scenes. I have started 3 profiles. The first one got ruined because I had clicked back a screen before waiting for an item to actually fall to where I could pick it up and it got lost in Limbo. The second one I did put on Casual mode but cannot stand all of the arrows and sparkles so I didn't even try it.

I'm playing the Steam version.

I played Left in the Dark: No One on Board a few years ago and I remember that I enjoyed it.

I also have Ghost Encounters: Deadwood but I have not played it yet. It sounds like a good candidate for Windows 7.

Still stuck on level 58 of 60 in Turbo Subs. Failed this level a lot, so I am taking a break from it. I started up Haunted Domains, a fun time management game that I have played before but never finished.

Nice to see you here, Leeana. Good to know that you are enjoying your games! I have heard good things about the Cursed Fables game you mention; I have played a couple in that series but not that one yet. The Domini game looks like fun, too. smile

Alex Hill looks great. And the developer is already working on the second game!

Nice to hear what you are playing Leeana! I haven't tried the Cursed Fables games yet but they are in my library.

Marian, I have Haunted Domains on a disc that included Oddly Enough Pied Piper. Never looked at either game. Ghost Encounters is pretty good so far. If my Win 7 was connected I would try it there, but it's not.

I think I have Alex Hill on my Steam wishlist. Nice to know there's another game in the works.

I just installed "Brink of Consciousness : Dorian Gray Syndrome (CE)" - which I've never played before.

Anyway, the opening scenes certainly seem to show it as a game I could well be going to enjoy πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

I also liked The Lonely Hearts Murders. In fact, I mentioned it in our Reviews and Recommendations thread here in the Casual Games forum:

Quote
Brink of Consciousness: The Lonely Hearts Murders

Developed by: Magic Indie

This game was released on Big Fish in November 2012. This was back in the days before achievements, pop-ups, and announcements, so there are none. No dexterity challenges that I can recall. This is a good detective story set in Victorian England. There is quite a bit of dialogue, which I personally enjoy, but I know that some players find this tiresome. It plays like an adventure game more than a HOG. There are some hidden object scenes but not a huge amount. There are also some good puzzles that I found fun to solve.

I purchased the Collector's Edition. One of the extras in the CE is an interview with the developer, which I found interesting and a welcome addition to the usual.

There are three levels of difficulty from which to choose.

I enjoyed the game very much and am replaying it right now - an oldie but a goodie.
