I saw from another thread that you'll be prompted to "save".
Are you able to name the saves or does the program name them for you? (please, no numbers!)

Is the number of saves limited, or is it like ROTS in which the number of saves is unlimited?

Good deal!
I keep all my saves and I hate the number system. Too confusing from game to game.
Are they transportable? (ie: can I send one to a friend or fellow gamer?)

Perfect!
I hated the way you couldn't save or send saves in URU.
This game is going to be a joy to play and watch others play and get hints and help along the way.

Sometimes I get the feeling that the Save systems in games are designed by people who have never actually played a game.
Luckily for us, Alida handles saved games beautifully. It was really helpful to have certain spots saved for reference to help with those delicious puzzles and be able to concentrate on playing instead of backtracking or hunting for a saved game with a number. You can name the games whatever you want.
Arthur looked up. "Ford!" he said, "there's an infinite number of monkeys outside who want to talk to us about this script for Hamlet they've worked out."
