LadyK
You will have to let us in on the "Secret" when the game breaks! Won't you?
Under penalty of "No More Games" or does begging and pleading on bended knee work better.
I'm up for either slow torture or shameless groveling later to hear the "Secret".
"So Many Games;So Little Time."
Now Playing: Sims 1 Always!! Next adventure Please!

And it was fantastic! (I'm talking about the game, of course!) I was over at MacBoards one day griping at the lack of new adventure games for the Mac, when someone (either Peter Smith or Kirk Heiner) posted the link to Cos' fledgling site. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the gorgeous screen shots, so I put in my order right away for the OS 9 version. (The X version was still to be built, I think.) I loaded it up as soon as it arrived from Australia and was lost to my family for days. As for the Easter egg, I'll keep it a secret for now. It'll take spending time in Alida before you'll be able to appreciate Cos' subtle humor.
Sorry, Santa! There were too many options.

Congratulations LadyK on being the first visitor to "Alida"! I remember vaguely that discussion . . .
As I've been to "Alida" can you let me in on this secret? Promise not to tell anyone who uses a PC to play games!
Used to answer to "Peter Smith", now answers to "Peter Rootham-Smith"

Tig and Mdamlady, I don't think Cos will mind if I pass on the secret to folks once they're involved in the game. You'll be deep into it before you can access it anyway. Peter, see your email.

I finished Alida a few months ago. Can I have the secret, too, LadyK? Please?

So if my game order number was 50 something, I guess there's a long line to reach the status of LadyKestrel...but at least I'm first on the Alida testimonials page, and I really meant it about the cute guys. Does that help? Good excuse to play the game again too to find a new surprise.
Arthur looked up. "Ford!" he said, "there's an infinite number of monkeys outside who want to talk to us about this script for Hamlet they've worked out."
