Hi,

I was wondering what kinds of puzzles Aura will have--specifically if there will be sliders. Also, I was wondering how the movement would be handled--specifically, is it 360 degree panning as this type of movement makes some gamers ill--

I appreciate your giving your time to answer our questions--

First of all I am not entirely sure what you mean by “sliders.” All of the puzzles that you will encounter are fully integrated into the plot of the game. All of these puzzles will require you to use logic and intuition in one way or another. You may find some of these puzzles very easy or some ridiculously hard. Don’t worry; there is a clue to every puzzle, you just have to keep your eyes open.
As for the movement, we have implemented a simple point and click interface. Nothing fancy. Say if you want to move somewhere or pick some thing up all you have to do is just click on the “hotspot” of the object that you wish to examine. Whether or not the 360 degree panning makes people ill, well honestly I don’t know. Everybody who played the game some far didn’t seem to have a problem with this.

tranditional point-N-click worked fine and I dont see any problem withit, i'm more concerned about the graphic/audio and puzzle, so far after playing the demo I'm pretty satisfied with the graphic, well, very I should say, the music however...well, guess i can't ask too much in a demo do i? smile

A slider is a puzzle where you have for example a block with 8 squares in it and a free space where the 9th square would be. The squares can 'slide' around to make a picture or design.

There's nothing like seeing one in action.
This site has an online slider.

You need java installed in your browser to see it.
