Hi Martin! I was wondering, did you model Peter after yourself? How much of his looks/personality are you in real life?

Where did this whole story come from...did you have SWAT bust down your neighbors doors? wave

All that Peter and I have in common are

a) a son (but my son is still alive, thank god)

b) experience in the advertisement industry

(I used to freelance as a copy writer for several advertisement agencies -- I specialised in corporate image/corporate design, and B2B communications *yawn*)

The MOS story had been brooding somewhere in the back of my mind for a longer time. I have always been interested in the topic of surveillance and its impact on indivdual lives and society as a whole.

Maybe the current paranoid Zeitgeist has to do with it too. It's difficult to nail it down.

(Note that I used the german word Zeitgeist. smile I hope it has the same semantics in English as in German...)

From Dictionary.com:

Quote:
The spirit of the time; the taste and outlook characteristic of a period or generation: “It's easy to see how a student... in the 1940's could imbibe such notions. The Zeitgeist encouraged Philosopher-Kings” (James Atlas).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[German : Zeit, time (from Middle High German zt, from Old High German. See d- in Indo-European Roots) + Geist, spirit; see poltergeist.]
By the current Zeitgeist, do you mean surveillance cameras at traffic intersections -- that kind of thing? You google yourself and find out all kinds of information you hope nobody else knows?
