Hi! I am enjoying this game very much, but am stumped when it comes to the pipe puzzle. Is there some trick to this one? I can never seem to get all the pipes together. I have looked at the various walkthroughs and strategy guides, and none have a clear description (at least to me) of what to do. Any help would be appreciated! thanks

Donna, I haven't played that far. Several of our members have finished it though, and I bet one of them will be by soon.

Those little faucet things are the key. What I did was work from both ends simultaneously and kind of pick up loose ends after I made a connection. All pipes do not have to be connected or stopped off, just get a connection and stop the leaks. The little faucet things rotate. Hope this helps, Carole

There are tow kinds of pipes-open ones that can be junctions, straight or elbows, and closed shut off valves which have a copper shut off on them. All will be used so there shouldn't be any open ends and should have a path leading to the boiler.

Never resist a generous impulse.

Thanks- I'll give that a try. just to be clear- the pipes don't all have to connect to one another- just connected with no leak?

Donnakaren, When I played it, all the pipes did need to connect. When I ran across two where the ends did not meet then I changed the configuration. I did the same as Carole and started the connections from both ends and then adjusted the remainder to end all open ends at the shut off valves.

Donnakaren, I've done the pipe game several times now and it's easy once you get the hang of it. I agree with Acornia and Nikki that the best way to play is to work from both ends. Just remember that all pieces do connect in some way and there is only one solution.

Have fun and Good luck!!

Thanks- I figured it out, thanks to the tips. I found that all the pipes did not have to connect to one another- just capped with the little pieces so there are no leaks. Drove me crazy for a little while, but is easy once one's brain clears!
