Hi all, I have finished Dreamfall at last with Sue's help, and now I'm stuck early on in Paradise!Unfortunately the version I bought on Amazon is russian (unknowingly, of course!) and there is no version number. I have applied the patch anyway, but the cursor is an absolute pain, and will not budge without great difficulty. I have at last managed to acquire a lighyt sweetmeat, but simply cannot give it to the princess. When I finally manage to pick it up, it just goes back into inventory. This cursor is so much trouble, I really wonder if the game is worth the aggravation, but I really do love the Benoit Sokal games! Can you please suggest any help? I'm desperate!!! Ann W-G

Ann The only thing I can think of to tell you since you have patched the game is to pack it in. I don't think there is anything else you can do? I had a little trouble with the cursor without patching the game but could eventually get it to work. Do you think you could have been sold a bootleg game?

Hi Sue, I think you may be right, but I was pleased to see it on sale, as it does not seem to have been realeased in the UK. I am afraid we do suffer rather badly with some of the most desirable games not available here, except on Amazon or ebay, and then you can't always be sure of what you are getting, until it's too late! Thank you so much for your reply anyway, and I guess your advice to abandon it will save me much frustration! Ann W-G

I'm so sorry Ann but just don't see a solution for you. Someone else may have an idea of what to do though. Have you ever used InteractCD to get your games?
Sue

Hi All, I am in trouble now on my new ('InteractCD' as suggested by Texaslady Sue,- good idea!). It is a great improvement on the Russian copy, though the cursor is still very jerky and not easy to position! However, I have just pulled the truck off the blocks in the garage, and the WT says 'use the hand pump on top of drum at right'. I can see the active spot but no pump, and no activity there. I don't have a pump in inventory either. Have I missed picking one up somewhere along the way? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Ann W-G

Did you connect a hose to that pump Ann? You should have found the pump somewhere near the front of the plane I think, on the floor.

Hi Sue, Thank you once again!!!I found the pump beside the plane, leaning against the lifting ramp. Problem solved, and the truck came rocketing out of the garage in reverse! I'm so grateful, as always! Ann W-G

Hi. I have everything I need for the drum but can't figure out who to give the items to. I've tried to give them to the man that is with Goodmorning but he doesn't seem to want anything. I wonder if there's something I haven't done. Something was mentioned here about the Prince. Perhaps I need to speak with him to trigger something. Where might I find him?
Thanks, Terri

Terri you do need to speak to the prince and I think he's on the far side of the gazeline corral. Do you know why you need to repair the drum? I think you just talk to the major once you have the items needed to cure the skin and he gives it to the angler. The game does rely heavily on dialogue in some places. Good luck

Sue. Thanks for the reply. Now to find the prince. Yes, I know why the drum needs to be repaired. What's confusing me is the "heavy on the dialogue". There is little dialogue with these Molgrave, tree people. LOL
No doubt I will be back with another question! Thanks.
