I am in the Fortress and need to jump the gap in the floor. The walkthrough says to put the two boards together. Both boards are in the same inventory slot. When I put the boards on the gap I only end up taking one board and Thorgal says the board is too short. How do I make them into one long board? Thanks. Kay

Kay did you pick up the boards in two different areas? If you did and they are stashed in the same inventory box, is there no way to combine them?

They were both in the corner by the bookshelf. When I clicked on them they both went into the same inventory box. I have a game save just as Thorgal enters the room. I will try another approach. Am I supposed to use the tongs on the boards first? I seem to remember reading something about the tongs and the boards somewhere. Thanks, Kay

Kay it sounds like you do need to use tongs on a board to remove it. Did you get that one also?

I found the second board. I was confused because it looked like I already had the two boards in my inventory after I took the one from the lab. This game is so much find the pixel. I will persevere. Thanks Kay
