Is there a way of knowing when you don't need to click again (and maybe again) on a subject in the conversation trees of Moment of Silence. While the instructions say that used subjects will be shown in BOLD I find it is often hard to tell what is bold and what is not. Also, it seems to me that I end up reusing some subjects anyway, especially the part about wanting to ask one more question (or similar phrase). Sometimes this works to advantage and sometimes is a waste of time.

If you choose something out of order you might get new conversations that might bring you back to what you skipped. Not sure but might you miss out on something in doing this?

Also, the whereabouts of the exits and entraces to scenes is often obscure despite the "H' for HELP key. Indicated locations of them do not always match their actual position.

I really do not want to use a WT from beginning to end but have made little progress due to these frustrations. So, I guess the question is.......is there a foolproof way of knowing when you do not need to repeat a piece of conversation and know when you've used up all there is to use at the moment with a particular person? I am close to giving this game the boot even though I think the story line might turn out to be interesting were it not for these problems.

I didn't do it......and if I did I'm not guilty!

Bob,

In this dialogue based game - it is not recommended to skip any dialogues since the clues (triggers) are in there. I ended up rehashing all the dialogues. It can be trying. Oh yes.

I really do not know a foolproof way. Since, sometimes when I'm done - I go back immediately and starts a new dialogue with the same person and new subject matter comes up.

As for the exits, I found that H later in the game. lol I kept on going back and forth on each screen.

The storyline is very good and interesting though. That might get you through.

O.K., one last question and I'll drop this thread.

When you say, "Since, sometimes when I'm done - I go back immediately and starts a new dialogue with the same person and new subject matter comes up", does this mean you actually reuse a dialogue and new subject matter sometimes comes up.

Yes. That happens but not often. I think I noticed that on that man at the kiosk at the start or first part of the game.
