Yes .... I've also already visited the link YOU gave and even registered as a member - but the way that particular Forum works is beyond me !!

I can't figure out how to "enable" questions or answers in the Hints & Tips section so that they are readable

I'm stumped, have discovered a dead body but get killed before I can react to killer rushing at me - how do I avoid getting killed? (game over, I'm dead!)

Betty Lou, I couldn't find a walkthrough for this. There is a forum for hints. Right now that thread is 20 pages so hopefully you can find the answer there.

Hold down your left mouse key and drag across to read the hidden text.

I have been to all the 'links' given here on GB to that forum but see nothing about how to avoid getting killed by the suspect in Chapter 1 - before I am forbidden to leave the castle....I cannot 'escape' from my room if I am killed before being accused of being the murderer....just call me frustrated

Betty Lou, this is just a wild stab, but I saw this question and answer on that forum:

"Am I the only person in the world that can't escape the knife guy? Can't go down the servants stairs."

"Maybe you can fight him? Are there any weapons in the King's quarters?"

Will that help any...

There may be a weapon I can pick up and use, but I thought there was no ACTION in this game! If I gotta fight anyone I quit this one.
