Hi everyone. Well I'm feeling kinda chilled out tonight so I popped in Sterling's Gift, not really sure what to expect but definitely curious. I'm so pleasantly surprised! Not that I expected anything negative, it's a lovely-looking game, but I wasn't sure if it would grab me or not. Well, it has, and I've been sitting here wrapped in the most beautiful, relaxing scenery and music that I've had the pleasure of indulging in in a long time. smile

There's this beautiful stately old home to explore and I just love the 1800's and all the clothing, furniture, etc. that goes with it, and the shots in this game are of a real place, so I don't even have to travel to Texas to see this beautiful home, I AM there, right here, right now. How cool is that? Plus, the music is so relaxing I could just curl right up and take a nap on my desk. LOL That's not a bad thing---this is the perfect chilling out before bedtime game, and I'm really enjoying it so far!

Now I'm going to go do a little more exploring and have a little bedtime snack, then go curl up under the covers and pretend that I'm far, far away from this era. If I happen to wake up a couple of hundred years ago, I may not be back to write again so I'll say my goodbyes now, just in case. smile

See ya,
Cat the time-traveling kitty

Okay, time-traveling kitty,
Have a nice sleepy-time trip into history, but don't lose your way back here when you are ready.

To love is to be happy with!

That's a great description Cat, sounds like a wonderful environment to be in. If you do manage to time travel, let us know how it goes.

Oh! Well I haven't gotten far so I didn't realize that. But, that's okay. For the kind of game that it is, I think short won't be so bad. smile
