Have shown him the pic and he does not identify the 3 people in it...can't make any connections in my notebook to the CSharps. Not getting anywhere with either Cecil or the reporter either and the old lady has disappeared (forever?) and the jazzman won't respond with anything that is helpful. What do I do now? (Man, that reporter has Senior Moments worse than mine!)

You have to connect Cecil with being the bandleader of the C Sharps and that will only be done through conversation and the use of the picture with Dwayne.
Once you have the info and talk to Cecil again you'll be able to get the ghosts name and then you'll have a bit more leverage to use with the reporter.

OK, have talked to Dwayne, then Cecil and the reporter, got Isaac's sisters name, and talked to everyone else again including Isaac, now what do I do? Stuck again. Thanks

You will have to talk to Cecil until he talks about a duet that Sarah and Isaac always played. Then you must record the duet.

If you haven't already done it, switch to Joey when you are with Cecil and have him look at him. You need his observation to wear Cecil down a bit more

Oooooooooh, I see. Thank you so much Sue for all your help and you other GBers too. Lovely game - leaves me with a question that wasn't answered (there), what happened to the old lady's spirit guide? That could be a story in itself, could'nt it? I could not have finished this game without all of you to help me, nudging me and pushing me to find the next clue.....thanks again. I am trying to finish this game but am stuck in a sort of loop. It's been an easy game, so I must be overlooking something.

It's the end scene (I think) and Joey is trying to get the Countess to "help" him instead of Lauren. There are no inventory items and nothing to click on, Joey and the Countess are the only characters I can interact with but the game doesn't advance. The Countess continues to say she can't help Joey.....no matter how many conversations they have. Is this a game glitch, or am I missing something? I have backtracked and replayed but can't seem to find anything and always end up in the same conversational loop.

I know from the posts that others have finished with no problems, so maybe I could get some hints?

Isn't this a great game? I love it and hope for many more.

Cappy get Joey to entice her out onto the balcony, then get him to float a bit beyond it. She will eventually follow him after he taunts her enough.
Won't tell you the rest, you'll find out soon enough.
If that won't work for you let me know, I'll play that part of the game again to see if I've missed something. It did take awhile to get her all the way out onto the balcony.

Get Joey to talk to the ghost at the construction area again Jorja. You need her husbands last name to be able to call Sam.

Sue, I have her husbands last name. I can't give it because my notes have Sam and John Durkin. I am at my wits end.

All you need to do I think Jorja is type in Sam Durkin when the operator at Columbia asks for a name.

Jorya, open up your notes, click on "Sam" and then click on "John Durkin":this will explain the connection between the two and will do the trick.

Ignore the countess for a bit and work on the sax player. Do you know his name? Do you know where he played? What all have you done with this part of the game?
If you can, get Joey to talk to the sax player about the journalist.

Jorja get your camera out and take a picture of the one behind the piano player. Get Joey to drift over and look at the sheet music the piano player is using while you're at it.
Do you have an opportunity to go see an agent at Jambalaya? He can identify at least one member of the trio in the picture. Once you have the name of the sax player, you'll be able to get more info.
