Hi Guys...

I'm incredibly stuck.

I see from the Mag's walkthrough that I have completed all of Poirot's instructions found in the Scrapbook. I have all the fingerprints and all the shoes have been checked for match to the footprints outside the train. I have checked in for the long conversation with Poirot where he says I'm doing a good job. I am at the point where I am supposed to go the the Salon Car and the Restaurant Car and talk to everyone there. However, no one will talk to me. Not anyone on the train. frown I cannot access Antoinette's suitcase to get the red kimono. I cannot talk to the Princess about the handkerchief because I can't find her.

The one clue I have is that the "Challenge" list in the Scrapbook says something like "there are more clues to be discovered" which is no help. And, that "more interrogation" is necessary, except no one will talk to me.

HELP confused Thanks a bunch!

Witchen

Hi Witchen,

The footprints - have you seen all the shoes. That is necessary even though you have identified who the footprints belong to.
Check and look close at all items in inventory. Some items have clues in the back of them.
Check that you have identified the prints on items to the characters. You might have missed printing an item or 2.
Talk to all characters. They can be in the rooms or in the empty car at the end of the train, as well as at the lounge and restaurant car. I think the doctor can be seen only if you change the angle view. luck

HI there Mags, and thanks for all the tips. smile Truth is I've done the shoe prints twice and Poirot's check list shows all this is done, fingerprints too. Did look front and back of all inventory items, but I will run that a second time.

I have identified all the prints in correlation with which character they belong to. And, if Constantine is the doctor, I've tried three times to talk to him, but no dice. frown I'll keep working on it.

This is one tedious game....LOL wink

Thanks again, Witchen

Good luck, Jan. Yes, it's such a picky game.

Hey, Mags....

It was a fingerprint thingie. frown I didn't click every time on the magnifying glass when coordinating the prints with the names of the "suspects." Oh gad! wink

I'm moving ahead now.

And you're so right...talk about picky. Boring even.....

I started the game the other night and are up to the part when Ratchett is lying in his bed dead. Then I go to see Pairot, I am not doing something right. I go to his room we discuss what I saw and then I can not go anywhere. I know it has something to do with the piece of paper, I can not get to the restaurant car to get the spirit lamp. What am I missing? He does not even talk to me about the burnt paper. How do I get him to ask?

If you have followed the porter, you can go to the restaurant car already.
Also be sure that you have checked everything in Ratchett's room.
What does Poirot's instructions say that you are missing?

Also check the walkthrough see what aprts you have not done.
Talk to everyone, check-look close at all inventory (back and front).

Yes, am moving forward thank you. I have come to the bound snowshoes and seem to have gotten to put into the gear icon and have put the snowshoes there as well. Come to find out that I am missing the copper wire. Were was it?

Bella I thought the copper wire bound the snowshoes together?
See if clicking the snowshoes on the gear will separate them and give you the wire.
