i have just finished act 6 almost. i did everything in act 6 but cant find linda i figured she should be in her room but she isn't. am i suppose to give the wire recorder to mrs. castle. i just checked the walkthough and i did everything and all of the * things marked. please help

You don't see Linda in Act 6. You do get in her bedroom and do the box puzzle.
No, you do not need to give the wire recorder tp Mrs. Castle.

Be sure that you have talked to everyone also.

Double check that you have done all from the walkthrough. You might be missing a dialogue.

i am going to start act 6 over . after i test the heroin do i go anywhere or is therea cut scene to linda marshall. thanks

I'm not sure what you have left to do Smitty. If you don't get a cutscene, I think you can always go into Linda's room and see what is going on in there.

i just did act 6 over i got all the stopwatch timings i used a ruler on the walkthough and got everything. am i suppose to go to cutters cove and do stopwatch timings from there. can someone send me a saved game to get to act 7. it doesnot do me anything to go over it again i will get the same results. please.

Did you get the 2 new stopwatch timings also? The one at the foot of the stairs of the pub entrance, the one inside the tunnel by the Monastery?
Have you picked up the broken compass?
Is the torn letter complete and made whole again?
Have you opened the zodiac box in Linda's room?

yes to all i got the stopwatch timings when he said to get them, put the torn letter together and opened the zodiac box and picked the the compass. i was very carful to pick everything up. don;t u have a save so i can get the cut scene. where is the cutscene suppose to happen. thanks for your time.when i got the last reading he said that was all the stopwatch readinds there was.

I am in process of replaying the game. Have just finished doing Monk's Pub for 1st time in Act 2. In MaG's WT there are a couple of questions I have. First, when at the Chemist, library, post office, nothing is said about returning the book for someone at the hotel. I did it anyway - hope this doesn't mess up the game The next item is - after talking completely with Albert (barman) the walkthrough talks about a painting that has a clue about Tom Cutter's treasure - a copy is on wall of chemist. I went back and looked all over for that painting to no avail - where oh where is it??? Hope you can clear these things up for me. Many thanks

GeeGee I think you are returning the book as a favor for Mrs. Castle.
I don't remember seeing any paintings to be honest. I saw what looked like maps but I could never interact with them. They were just there.

Could I please get that save for the end of Chapter 4. I have tried everything. Asked for help with the Finger of Fate and just states that i talk to the Colonel which i have done over and over and He just states that He has no more information about the sketch. Thanks in advance.

I don't have a saved game specifically for that chapter. Have you checked everything you have done in this chapter against what is stated in the w/t? Specifically you have to have done everything that has an asterick by it.
Have you looked at everything in your inventory and read all documents? Have you talked with everyone literally until they blow you off?
If the Colonel won't talk to you about anything it means that he doesn't have any answers yet.

GeeGee I believe the map is the dart board in the basement of the pub. I just finished the game this evening but I do remember a dialogue about the map being the dart board.

Well, have replayed the game up to the end of Act 4. However, after talking to Weston and giving him sketch of North, I am NOT automatically sent back to side of the hotel. What is the problem here? Also, I see from a number posts that people are talking about ASTERISKS beside each task in WT. I do NOT see any of these asterisks in my printed out WT. Would appreciate any help you can provide Thanks in advance.

GG grab your print out of the w/t and go back to the w/t please. MaG updated it and put asterisks at important places. Just put a check by yours and see if that will help you. I think those are the minimum places/things that must be done in each act.
