I waited and waited for Cleopatra and finally broke down and downloaded. After a long download, lost keycodes blocked by Comcast and having to delete the game from the hard drive as soon as I finished since my computer was acting up ever since the download, i have nothing to show for my 30 dollars. It's just not for me, but I'll be first in line to support the industry by buying a retail version.

I feel your pain, and am trying not to feel smug that I didn't encounter these problems when I downloaded Cleopatra. Trying very hard. With extra sincerity!

I absolutely cannot fault Kheops, they were wonderful in helping me, it was strictly on my end, but you still can't help feeling cheated. Now if they did what Telltale does with Sam and Max and give you a disk for the cost of shipping when it releases I would do it all again in a heartbeat. (Are the powers that be listening?? )

Comcast email is diabolical. The rest of their service (knock on wood) has been fine and dandy.

Naw. Put it down to my crazy propensity to stick with a service that is tried and (minimally) effective, however trying that may be.

I am downloading the game as we speak - almost 84% done. Really looking forward to playing it. I am much too impatient to wait for boxed game later on. Also didn't have problems with downloading Cleopatra game and playing it either. Enjoy

What a beautiful game, controls are really smooth. Everything is so clear. Love it. Don't know how hard it is yet. All the newer games are quite hard to me.

This one downloaded *much* more quickly for me than Cleopatra did--it took about 90 minutes versus 7+ hours with Cleopatra. I know a lot of folks experienced super slow download times with that game, so I thought I'd post about this one in case anyone's dying to play it but scared off by the prospect of another marathon download.

Yes, you still need the emailed key. This time I used my non-Comcast work address so I didn't run into the Comcast blocking issue I (and others, I believe) did last time.

What surprises me is that after a quick trawl of the internet, I can find only a German-language demo. Odd, that.

Sounds interesting. But does this game (and Cleopatra) have 360 degree panning? Some of the other Kheops games I've played do and I just can't seem to get used to it. Thanks!
