I'm stuck. George has passed behind waterfall and jumped up on ledge to the right. He is now suppose to jump down and work around to the right. However I do not have "aid" to help jump down. Help, please.

Betty, as I remember, this is a keyboard game--have you tried using the arrow keys, or the "A" key on the keyboard to move around...think

Betty,

After the waterfall, go up another ledge.
Move to extrem right and see the edge.
Move your cursor on the right side, down at the cliff edge and get the - a hanging or jump down cursor or something like that. You do not jump to other side - you hang down. You will be using your hands now to get to the right.

Thanks. I have gone up one ledge after the waterfall. Moved to the right edge. However I don't have an icon in the right lower edge of picture. How can I make George jump down without an icon?

The cursor should be at the rim or edge of the ledge; not the picture. Please check again and move closer to the ledge.
Make him look down.

We don't get a curser with this game. Or maybe, it's just my computer that does't show a curser.

You aren't seeing any type of cursor Betty? What happens if you move the arrows?

I think you're not seeing any options to move because you may have taken the incorrect route (I did the same thing!).

Backtrack from before the waterfall and try a different route.

From the UHS hints:

Click to reveal..
The correct route is the one to the front edge of the cliff.

From the left of the waterfall, move down (press "A" to hang on the ledge, and "A" again to drop to the lower ledge).

Do the same for the next ledge.

Move to the back of this ledge, then jump over the gap to the back wall.

Move to the right of the edge, then forward, and climb up.

Hang on the ledge, moving back and to the right. Drop down when over the ledge.

Move forward a little, just to step down. Move to the right side of the ledge.

Stand George so that he is facing the ledge, until you see the option for him to put his back to the wall.

Walk George around the ledge, back to the wall. Then move to the right.

Climb up, to the right. Jump to the right.

Do you see any sign of a cursor when you pan around Betty?

I'm sorry Betty, I just don't know what to tell you to do if the arrows aren't getting you where you need to be.

Betty,

I sent you 4 saves at the start of the game.
Maybe one of them will help you.

Betty I think you aren't in the correct area. Do you see a cave anywhere?

Sue, I did see a cave before I went back under the waterfall and tried another route. I'll try again. Thanks. Betty

Hooray! George has finally found cave. I have moved on to Nico in Paris. She has gone over wall and found wig. Walkthrough
says she looks in inventory and notes blonde hair(trigger for sports car dialogue). This doesn't work for me. In inventory I see dark wig and I don't understand "trigger for sports car dialogue. Please help me again. Thanks, Betty

Betty see if you can get a close up of the wig. I remember the wig but don't remember having to do anything special to see the hair.

Thanks, Sue. How do I get "trigger for sports car dialogue". I thought it might be in Nico's notebook. However, I don't know how to read her notebook. Thanks for your help. Betty

Betty,

Did you see the hair in the wig already? Look at the wig in inventory and note the blonde hair.

Then you can now ask about the sports car to anyone in the vicinity there.

I looked at hair in inventory and it is definitely not blond. When I talk to people I have no conversation about sports card. Do you know how to grab and read something in inventory? Betty

The one inside the wig should be blonde. The wig is NOT blond. laugh
Look close inside the wig.

I can't remember if there's an eye icon that you can use in the inventory. See if there's one and try it.

Help! I'm stuck. George in Congo has gotten bird nest and walked the skinny ledge to sunlight but he is on a ledge and there is no Harry beckoning me. What have I missed. Thanks, Betty

Betty please don't start a new thread for a game when you have an active one on the boards.
I think that you may not be on the correct ledge yet. Did you climb or jump up to another one? I think you walk one and then shimmy across the next one with your hands....rather George's hands.

I am trying to move the crates by the burning building. I can only get them to move away from the window instead of under it. Is there a correct position for George to be in to pull or push? Thanks. Betty
